ILOPLEKS Dairy supplies premium European starter cultures manufactured by BIOCHEM (Italy) under the LACTOFERM® brand. What separates us from an ingredient distributor is what happens after the order: dairy technologists who help manufacturers solve production challenges, optimise processes and select the right culture for their specific application.

BIOCHEM — Italy, since 1978
LACTOFERM® starter cultures are produced by BIOCHEM S.r.l. in Italy. The relationship matters for three practical reasons: the cultures are made in a single European facility under one quality system; the strain library is proprietary and stable, so lot-to-lot behaviour is predictable; and technical questions go to people who have access to the people who made the culture.
ILOPLEKS Dairy is the North American technical partner for that portfolio — not a reseller passing enquiries upstream.
